Gittikçe artan gelir dağılımındaki eşitsizlikler özellikle toplumun en dezavantajlı grubu olan kadınların yoksulluğu şiddetli bir şekilde hissetmelerine neden olmaktadır. Genelde yoksulluk ve özelde kadın yoksulluğu sonucunda toplumsal sorunlara elverişli bir toplumsal yapı ortaya çıkmaktadır. İlk defa Dr. Muhammed Yunus tarafında 1970’li yılların ortalarında Bangladeş’te uygulama alanı bulan mikro kredi, son yıllarda kadın yoksulluğunu giderme amacıyla çok sayıda ülkede bir araç olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bilecik ilinde mikro krediden yararlanan kadınlara yönelik yapılan bu çalışma sonucunda mikro kredinin kadın yoksulluğunu azaltmada etkili bir araç olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
The increasing inequality in income distribution causes women, especially the most disadvantaged groups in society, to feel poorly. Often, the result of poverty and especially women’s poverty arises a social structure that is favorable to social problems. For the first time in the mid-1970s, Dr. Muhammad Yunus found a micro-credit in Bangladesh, which has been used in many countries in recent years as a tool to eliminate women’s poverty. This study aimed at women benefiting from micro-credit in the province of Bilecik has found that micro-credit is an effective tool in reducing women’s poverty.
As a result of inequalities in income distribution, Women, the most disadvantaged group of society, feel deeply poverty. A social structure favorable to social problems emerges due to poverty in general and women's poverty in particular. For the first time, Micro credit, which has been applied by Dr. Mohammed Yunus in Bangladesh in the mid-1970s, has been used as a tool in many countries for the purpose of prevent women's poverty in recent years. In this study, women who used micro credit in bilecik were surveyed and we found that micro credit is an effective tool in reducing women's poverty.
