Abstract:

Bu makalede Kuzey Avrupa ülkelerinden Norveç’te din eğitimi konusu ele alınmış, ülkedeki din eğitimi sistemi, aralarında Müslümanların da bulunduğu Norveç’te yaşayan farklı gruplar tarafından nasıl değerlendiriliyor sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Ülkemizde Norveç’te din eğitimi ile ilgili pek fazla kaynak bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmayla Norveç’teki mevcut din eğitiminin durumu ortaya konarak özellikle karşılaştırmalı eğitim çalışmaları için katkı sağlamayı hedeflemekteyiz. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada ayrıca geçmişten günümüze Norveç’te din eğitimine etki eden siyasi yapı, din devlet ilişkileri, dini çoğulculuk gibi konularda bilgiler sunulmuştur. Devamında Norveç eğitim sistemi ve bu sistem içinde ülkedeki din eğitimi, din eğitiminin tarihi arka planı, din eğitiminin hedefleri, müfredat programı ve ülkedeki din dersi tartışmaları üzerine oluşan problemler ortaya konmuş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Norveç’te nasıl bir din eğitimi modeli uygulandığı detaylı bir şekilde ortaya konmuş olacaktır. Sonuç olarak ülkedeki mevcut din eğitimi modelinden Hümanistlerin, Müslümanların ve diğer azınlıkların memnun olmadığı yargısına varılmıştır.

Abstract:

This article discussed the issue of religious education in Norway from northern European countries, and asked how the religious education system in the country is assessed by different groups living in Norway, including Muslims. There are not many sources of religious education in Norway in our country. With this study, we aim to contribute to comparative educational studies, especially by revealing the state of the current religious education in Norway. In this study, research methods have been used. The study also presented information on topics such as political structure, religious state relations, religious pluralism, which influenced religious education in Norway from the past to the present. In the course of the Norwegian educational system and within this system the problems arising from the religious education in the country, the historic background of religious education, the objectives of religious education, the curriculum and the religious lessons discussions in the country have been revealed and interpreted. The result of the study will be detailed how a religious education model is applied in Norway. As a result, the current religious education model in the country has come to the judgment that humanists, Muslims and other minorities are not satisfied.

In this article, the subject of religious education in Norway, which is one of the Northern European countries, was addressed, and the answer to the question of how the religious education system in the country is evaluated by different groups living in Norway, including Muslims, was sought. In our country, there are not many resources related to religious education in Norway. With this study, we aim to contribute to comparative education studies by revealing the status of current religious education in Norway. In this study, case study method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study also provided information on issues such as political structure, religion-state relations, and religious pluralism that affect religious education in Norway from past to present. Afterwards, the problems arising on the Norwegian education system and the religious education in the country, the historical background of religious education, the goals of religious education, the curriculum and the religious lesson discussions in the country were presented and interpreted. As a result of the research, what kind of religious education model is applied in Norway will be revealed in detail. The study concluded that Humanists, Muslims and other minorities are not satisfied with the current religious education model in the country.
