Üniversite Çalışanları Bağlamında Sanal Kaytarma Ve Örgütsel Vatandaşlık Davranışı Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract:

Teknoloji kullanımının iş yerlerinde yaygınlaşmasıyla ortaya çıkan sanal kaytarma, çalışanların iş yerinde fayda sağlama ya da zarar vermeye yönelik iş dışı amaçlarla teknolojik araçlarla internet kullanımını ifade etmektedir. Örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı ise, çalışanların biçimsel rollerinin ötesine geçerek organizasyona yarar sağlayacak şekilde fazladan çaba göstermelerini ifade etmektedir. Bu bağlamda, üniversite çalışanlarının verimliliğinin ve performansının tartışmasız önemi nedeniyle akademik ve idari personelin hangi sanal kaytarma ve örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışlarını sergilediği ve hangi davranışların nasıl farklılaştığını incelemek araştırmanın amacı dâhilindedir. Çalışmada, üniversite örneklemi üzerinde sanal kaytarma ve örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışları alt boyutları demografik özellikler bağlamında analiz edilerek, farklılaşan değişkenlerin nedenleri tartışılmıştır. Üniversitelerin ülkelerin kalkınmasına ve nitelikli öğrencilerin yetişmesine katkı sağladıkları gerçeğiyle bu çalışmada, üniversitelerin daha verimli olmasına, çalışan bireyler arası, birey ve organizasyonlar arası ilişkinin olumlu olmasına, kaynakların daha etkin kullanılmasına olası katkı sağlayabilmesinin önemi tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca akademik ve idari personellerinin sanal kaytarma davranışı hakkında bilinçlenmesine ve örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışının üniversiteler için önemine değinilmiştir.

A Review of Virtual Transfer and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the Context of University Staff

Abstract:

The virtual scrolling that occurs with the spread of the use of technology in the workplace means the use of the internet with technological tools for non-working purposes to benefit or harm employees in the workplace. Organizational citizenship behavior means that employees must make more effort beyond their formal roles to benefit the organization. In this context, the objective of the research is to explore which academic and administrative staff demonstrate the behavior of virtual recording and organizational citizenship and how the behavior differs. The study discussed the causes of differentiating variables, analyzing the subdimensions of virtual scraping and organizational citizenship behaviors on the university sample in the context of demographic characteristics. With the fact that universities contribute to the development of countries and the training of qualified students, this study discussed the importance of the universities to be more efficient, the positive relationship between employees, individuals and organizations, and the potential contribution to the more efficient use of resources. It was also highlighted the awareness of academic and administrative staff about the virtual recording behavior and the importance of organizational citizenship behavior for universities.

An Investigation On Cyberloafing and Organizational Citizenship Behavior In The Context Of University Employees

Abstract:

Cyberloafing occurs with the widespread use of technology in workplaces, refers to the use of the internet with technological tools for non-business purposes aimed at providing benefits or harming employees at work. Organizational citizenship behavior means that employees go beyond formal roles and make extra efforts to benefit the organization. In this context, due to the indisputable importance of the efficiency and performance of university employees, which cyberloafing and organizational citizenship behaviors and how different behaviors of academic and administrative staff differ is examined. In the study, the sub-dimensions of cyberloafing and organizational citizenship behaviors were analyzed in the context of demographic features on the basis of university sampling, as given the reason as universities contribute to the development of a country and the training of qualified students. For this reason, the study shows the importance of universities to be more productive, the relationship between working individuals and being positive among other people and organizations that have relationships, and that they can make a possible contribution to the use of resources more effectively. In addition, the study aims to reveal the importance of academic and administrative staffs’ awareness about cyberloafing behavior and organizational citizenship behavior for universities.
