Özet:

Education is a process where individuals make intentional changes in their behaviors via their lives. Health education is conducted as: 1- Education aimed at society 2- Education aimed at raising individuals in health sector. This compilation will evaluate studies on education before graduation fo rprofessions in the healthcare field and its effects upon the period after graduation. Choice of profession and professional field is among the most important stages of the professional development process. Individuals choose a certain work and life style while choosing a profession. Profession, in the first place, is a way of using the talents, as well as realizing and developing oneself. If individuals choose their profession by considering their talents, interests and desires; they will most likely become successful, productive and happy in that field. The base in adopting and professionally applying a profession, in other words the consciousness of profession is laid in student ship. And it continues through out the professional life. In health education; it is recommended to raise more qualified, self-confident individuals that constantly increase their personal development by using educational strategies like coaching process and/or peer education. In the stage of graduation, on the other hand; it is recommended to provide professional integration (like the application of internship) in cooperation of clinic-school. It is also recommended to involve the expectations and suggestions of students (student aspect) concern inglessons in every stage of education, conduct researches, use the data of students in personal consult ancy services and conduct personal student interviews for removing the negative feelings of students toward their professions. Such studies will not only pave the way for raising health care professionals that are enthusiastic about trainings even after graduation, love their job, have a high motivation, succeed in career-planning and provide a quality service, but also contribute to professions in the healthcare field in real terms.
