Those who use their life and the word mastery that is the tax of Allah to gain God’s pleasure and with this effort for centuries legendary, Yunus Emre also highlighted the concept of “prayer” which is one of the five conditions of Islam as the most fundamental purpose of his life in his poems. This idea is supported by the writing of the first examples of "namâz-nâme/salât-nâme" in Turkish literature (Tatcı 1990a: 147) and the use of the word "namâz" in fourteen and sixth (46) places.
