Abstract:

Within the current era, it can be abserved that even in peer-reviewed scientific papers selling tricks have been increased and fake-news content of popular scientific reports are extremely high. It becomes more and more necessary to raise the level of questioning, developing critical perspective and academic precision since it is now exposed that communication methods such as disinformation, deception and perception management are widely used witin this era, so-called the era of information warfare. Various examples of reflecting untruth as it was truth by manipulation of science can be illustrated. Within the scientific sphere, it is crucial to rethink, requestion, reevaluate or even reconstruct titles such as; discoveries of innovations, production of scientific knowledge, instrumentalization of knowledge and influence of science on truth perceptions, by the framework that may be called, post-truth thinking. This research work briefly presents awareness factors that necessiates to be considered while doing scientific researches within this era of post-truth.
