This study aimed to examine the practical implication of the National Early Childhood Education (ECE) curriculum (2007) in Punjab. ECE teachers’ training guidebook (ECE TTGb) was analyzed through an educational plan framework (Asghar, 2016) based on the parameters i.e. objectives of ECE TTGb, the content of modules, teaching methodology, and assessment process. Qualitative Content Analysis (QCA) was deployed to analyze the harmony between the National ECE curriculum (2007) and the ECE teachers’ training guidebook (designed by Quaid-e-Azam academy for educational development, school education department, Govt. of Punjab) by organizing textual data, producing codes, and themes. The findings of this study explored a strong association between the in-service ECE teachers’ training guidebook and the national ECE curriculum (2007). Both emphasized upon holistic development of the children, development of critical thinking in children, development of diversity, recognition of self-identity, responsible citizens, and creation of appropriate learning environment. This study was a comprehensive report about the implication of the national ECE curriculum (2007) in Punjab which will be very useful and informative for policymakers, administration of the Quaid-e-Azam academy for education development, Punjab, and curriculum development wing Punjab to modify the program according to the need for achieving goals as well as researchers.
