Ḳıṣaṣü’l‐Enbiyā, adından da anlaşılacağı üzere peygamber kıssalarını konu alan Harezm Türkçesiyle yazılmış ilk eserdir. Eser Ribat-ı Oğuz’da, Çağatay hanlarından Tarmaşirin emiri Nāṣırü’d-dīn Tok Buga adına Nāṣırü’d-dīn b. Burhānü’d-dīn Rabġūzī tarafından, Farsçadan yapılmış bir tercümedir (1310). Eser, geleneksel İslam edebiyatında çok görülen bir peygamberler tarihidir. Bir önsözden sonra Adem’den başlayarak bütün peygamberlerin menkıbevi hayatları anlatılmaktadır. Sade bir nesir diliyle yazılan Ḳıṣaṣü’l‐Enbiyā’da yer yer manzum bölümlere de rastlanmaktadır. Zengin bir söz varlığına sahip olan eserde bir kelimenin Karahanlı Türkçesindeki eski şeklinin yanında ses gelişimi ve değişimine uğramış yeni şekilleri de yer almıştır. Metinde İslâmî terimler için kullanılan Arapça kelimelerin yanında bunların Türkçeleştirilmiş şekilleri de kullanılmıştır. Söz varlığı bakımından önemli bir yanı da, elimizdeki mevcut sözlüklerde bulunamayan, eklerle genişletilmiş, karşılığı anlamdan yola çıkılarak ve etimoloji yapılarak verilen kelimelerin çokluğudur. Eserde peygamberler bahsinde çeşitli hikâyelerle birlikte o zamanın şartları da irdelenmiş, insanların o dönemdeki şartları göz önünde bulundurularak çeşitli sosyal ihtiyaçların karşılanmasındaki araç ve gereçlerden bitki ve hayvan adlarına, coğrafi terimlerden meslek ve zanaat ile ilgili adlara, burç ve astroloji ile ilgili terimlere kadar eserde çeşitli kullanımlarla zengin bir mahiyete eriştirilmiştir. Bu makalede Ḳıṣaṣü’l‐Enbiyā adlı eserde hayvan adları söz varlığı irdelenmiş; tarihsel ve modern Türk dili alanında mukayese edilerek verilmiştir. Arapça, Farsça gibi dillerden alıntı hayvan adlarının varlığı da eserde dikkat çekici niteliktedir. Bazı hayvan adları ise sadece o döneme ait söz varlığına özgü sözcükler olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
This is the first book written by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the Quran. In Eser Ribat-i Son, the order of Tarmaşirin from the Çağatay houses is a translation made from Persian by Nāṣırü'd-dīn Tok Buga in the name of Nāṣırü'd-dīn b. Burhānü'd-dīn Rabġūzī (1310). The work is a history of the prophets that is widely seen in traditional Islamic literature. After a prejudice, Adam begins with the story of all the prophets. There is also a language in which the word is written, and there is a language in which the word is written, and the word is written. The work, which has a rich word existence, has included the old form of a word in Karahanlı Turkish, along with the sound development and new forms that have been changed. In addition to the Arabic words used for Islamic terms in the text, their Turkish forms were also used. In the work of the prophets, along with various stories, the conditions of the time were also overwhelmed, and the people, taking into account the conditions of the time, have accessed a rich virtue with various uses in the work, from the tools and tools for the satisfaction of various social needs to the names of plants and animals, from the geographical terms to the names related to the profession and craft, to the terms related to the bourgeois and astrology.
