Çanakkale Yöresinde Yetiştirilen “Deveci” Armut Çeşidinde Hasat Sonrası 1-Methylcyclopropane Uygulamalarının Depolama Süresince

Bu çalışmada Marmara bölgesinde önemli bir üretime sahip olan “Deveci” armut çeşidinde hasat sonrası 1–Methylcyclopropane (1–MCP) uygulamalarının muhafaza süresince kaliteye olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla Çanakkale Biga bölgesinden hasat edilen armut meyvelerinde sırasıyla 312,5 ppb, 625 ppb ve 1.250 ppb dozlarında 1–MCP uygulamaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Farklı uygulamalara tabi tutulan meyveler 2°C ile 3°C arasında sıcaklık ile %85–%90 oransal nem koşullarında sırasıyla 60, 120 ve 180 gün süreyle muhafaza edilmişlerdir. Meyveler her muhafaza süresinin sonunda 20°C ile 22°C arası sıcaklık ile %50–60 oransal nem koşullarında 7 gün süresince raf ömrüne tabi tutulmuşlardır. Armut meyvelerinde hasattan sonra ve her depolama süresinden sonra meyve eti sertliği, suda çözünür kuru madde oranı, titre edilebilir toplam asitlik miktarı, meyve kabuk rengi değişimi, etilen üretim miktarı, toplam fenolik bileşik miktarı ve toplam çürüme oranı gibi bazı kalite özellikleri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; depolama süresi uzadıkça tüm meyvelerde farklı düzeylerde olmak üzere kalite kayıpları meydana gelmiştir. Bunun yanında; söz konusu kalite özelliklerinin depolama ve raf ömrü süresince korunumu açısından en etkili uygulamalar 625 ppb ve 1.250 ppb dozunda 1–MCP uygulamaları olmuştur. Buna karşın 312,5 ppb uygulama dozunun kalite özellikleri üzerinde önemli seviyede etkinliği saptanamamıştır

Abstract:

In this research the effects of postharvest 1–Methylcyclopropane (1–MCP) treatments on quality during storage were carried out. For this purpose, 1–MCP treatments were materialized on pear fruits harvested from Çanakkale Biga region with 312,5 ppb, 625 ppb and 1.250 ppb doses respectively. Fruits of different treatments were stored between 2°C and 3°C storage temperature and 85%–90% relative humidity conditions for 60, 120 and 180 days respectively. Fruits were kept between 20°C and 22°C temperature and 50%–60% relative humidity conditions for 7 days as shelf life after each storage period. Some quality parameters such as fruit firmness, soluble solids content, titratable acidity, skin color development, ethylene production, total phenolics compound and fungal decay incidence were assessed after harvest and each storage and shelf life periods. According to the results, quality losses increased with prolonging the storage period. Besides 625 ppb and 1.250 ppb treatment doses were found as the most effective on keeping the quality during storage and shelf life. However any significant effects of 312.5 ppb treatment dose can be determined on quality parameters
