Bu araştırmanın amacı, Trabzon Olimpiyat Hazırlık Merkezi’ndeki judocuların problem çözme becerileri ve sportif güven düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubunu, Trabzon Olimpiyat Hazırlık Merkezi’nde aktif olarak judo sporu ile uğraşan 60 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Heppner ve Peterson (1982) tarafından geliştirilen, Türkçeye uyarlaması ise Şahin, Şahin ve Heppner (1993) tarafından yapılan Problem Çözme Ölçeği ve Vealey (1986) tarafından geliştirilen Türkçe uyarlamasını Engür ve arkadaşları (2006) tarafından yapılmış olan Sürekli Sportif Güven Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere tanımlayıcı istatistiki işlemler yapıldıktan sonra Bağımsız Örneklem T-Testi, Tek Faktörlü Varyans Analizi ve Pearson Korelasyon Testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; judocuların cinsiyet ve milli sporcu olma değişkeni açısından problem çözme becerileri puanlarına bakıldığında, cinsiyet değişkeni açısından anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Yine yaş, eğitim durumu, antrenman yaşı ve antrenör ile çalışma yılına baktığımızda ise eğitim durumu değişkeninde anlamlı farklılık söz konusudur (p<0.05). Judocuların sportif güven düzeyi puanlarına baktığımızda ise; değişkenlerin hiçbirinde anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır (p>0.05)
The aim of this research is to study the problem-solving skills and levels of sports confidence of judges at the Trabzon Olympic Preparation Center. The research group consists of 60 athletes who are actively engaged in judo sports at the Trabzon Olympic Preparation Center. The data collection tool was developed by Heppner and Peterson (1982) and adapted to the Turkish by Shahin, Shahin and Heppner (1993) and developed by Vealey (1986) and adapted to the Turkish by Engur and his friends (2006) and used the Continuous Sports Trust Scale. After the statistical processes to identify the obtained data were carried out the independent sample T-Test, one-factor variance analysis and Pearson Correlation Test. The study found a significant difference in gender variability when it comes to judocks’ ratings of problem-solving skills in terms of gender and national athlete (p<0.05). When we look at the age, the training status, the training age and the year of work with the coach, the change in the training status is a significant difference (p<0.05). When we look at the sports trust scores of the judges, there was no significant difference in any of the variables (p>0.05)
