The baths, which are mainly the places of cleaning and washing, have witnessed a folkloric accumulation over time. Articles and material culture products used in the bath, various ceremonies and entertainments performed in the bath, folk medicine practices, traditions and rituals, beliefs and beliefs, and oral culture products such as mania, proverb, idiom, folk, narrative are the main elements of the folklore structure. In this context, bath structures are cultural places where intangible cultural heritage is exhibited and kept alive as well as concrete cultural heritage. However, today the culture of the bath has lost its vitality and has been largely excluded from the daily life shaped by modernism and a great break from the tradition. Located in Elmalı and XV. Bey Bath, which has been serving the public since the 19th century, has not been a monographically examined structure in terms of art history, architecture and folklore. Bey Bath has an unobtrusive building appearance today and is an important part of the historical, architectural and cultural heritage of the city of Elmalı. In addition to being the only bathhouse that continues to serve in Elmalı, it is also an important structure in terms of being one of the few examples that can preserve the character of the traditional Turkish bath in all of Antalya. In the example of Bey Hammam, our article, which we aim to examine the culture of the Elmalı region, was prepared with a history of art and a folklore perspective.
