Özet:

The purpose of this study, in general terms, is to determine the common and varying aspects of the same language system used in two different time periods in the same geographical region. It also aims to identify the relation between the dialects spoken in spesific terms in XIVth century. These dialects shared the same region which both spoke the contemporary Central Anatolian and the foundation period of West Turkish dialects. In this respect, this study is the one that can be included in the historical dialect pieces of research of Turkish used in Central Anatolia in the XIVth century in terms of following the traces in the contemporary Central Anatolian dialects. In this study, the progress of the Oghuz-based West Turkish in the Anatolian geography, in the same geographical region at different times was examined by considering verb conjugation structures on the basis of historical and comparative linguistic method. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that many morphemic features in conjugation suffixes of 14th century Central Anatolian Turkish preserved in contemporary Central Anatolian dialects unlike modern standard Turkish, but some of them became archaic and these were replaced by other morphemes in time. In addition, they continued their development by diversifying with allomorphs that emerged as a result of various phonological events.
