The aim of this study is justice, giving importance to family unity, independence, peace, scientificity, diligence, solidarity, sensitivity, honesty, aesthetics, equality, freedom, respect, love, responsibility, disposition which are included in the social studies curriculum and are aimed to be gained to students. To determine the status of patriotism and benevolence values in the National Anthem. It is also to determine the distribution of these values according to the continents and lines of the Turkish National Anthem. This study is important because it is the first study in which the Turkish National Anthem is examined in terms of the values in the social studies course curriculum. In this study, which was carried out to determine the values in the National Anthem, a survey model was used as a model. The descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data in the study. As a result of the analysis, a total of 9 themes were identified, namely justice, independence, solidarity, sensitivity, freedom, respect, love, responsibility and patriotism. According to the results of the research, it was seen that there were 9 values out of 18 values in the Social Studies Curriculum in the National Anthem, which was examined within the framework of the research. The values of the National Anthem are thought to be an important resource that can be used in value teaching in social studies lesson. Therefore, the values desired to be acquired by individuals can also be transferred through thisresource.
