Bu çalışmada bibliyometrik göstergeler açısından çevre okuryazarlığına ilişkin eğitim araştırmaları makaleleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma nitel araştırma modellerinden olan betimsel tarama modelinde olup verilerin analizinde bibliyometrik analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Veriler Clarivate Analytics tarafından üretilen Web of Science veri tabanından alınmıştır ve tarama aralığı 1975-18 Ocak 2022 olarak belirlenmiştir. Tarama sonucunda 73.741.061 çalışmadan 419 tanesinin Çevre Okuryazarlığı ile ilgili olduğu belirlenmiş, bunların 138 tanesinin (%32,93) eğitim/eğitim araştırmaları kategorisinde yer alan makaleler olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Yapılan analizlerde çevre okuryazarlığına ilişkin olarak en çok yapılan çalışmanın makale olduğu belirlenmiştir. Söz konusu makalelerde toplam 426 farklı anahtar kelime kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Yayınlanan makalelerin 72 tanesinin son beş yıla ait olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu oran çevre okuryazarlığı ile ilgili eğitim araştırmalarının son yıllarda artma eğiliminde olduğunu göstermektedir. Yapılan analizlerde literatüre katkıda bulunan 339 farklı yazar olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda en etkin derginin “Environmental Education Research” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bir başka bulguya göre eğitim/eğitim araştırmaları kategorisinde yayınlanan makalelerde 37 farklı yayıncı kuruluşun adı yer almaktadır. Bu kapsamda en aktif kuruluşun Taylor Francis olduğu belirlenmiştir. 33 farklı ülkeden araştırmacıların alana katkı sağlayan makaleler yayınladıkları belirlenmiş ve bu kapsamda en aktif ülkenin Amerika Birleşik Devletleri olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu ülkeyi sırasıyla İsrail ve Türkiye’nin izlediği görülmüştür. 20 makale ile Türkiye 3. sırada yer almıştır. Bu durum alanla ilgili önemli çalışmalara zaman ayrıldığını göstermektedir.
This study has studied articles of educational research on environmental literature in terms of bibliometric indicators. The research is based on the visual scan model of research models and the bibliometric analysis technique has been used in the analysis of data. The data was taken from the Web of Science database produced by Clarivate Analytics and the scan range was determined to be 1975-18 January 2022. The survey found that 419 of the 73,741.061 studies were related to Environmental Reading, 138 of which (32,93) were articles in the category of education/educational research. In the analyses made, the study was found to be the most done about environmental literature. There were a total of 426 different keywords used in these articles. It is found that 72 of the published articles belong to the last five years. This ratio shows that educational research on environmental literature has tended to increase in recent years. In the analysis, there were 339 different writers contributing to literature. The most effective magazine in this context is Environmental Education Research. According to the other findings obtained, the articles published in the category Education/Education Research contain the names of 37 different publishing organizations. The most active organization in this scope is Taylor & Francis. Researchers from 33 different countries have published articles that contribute to the field, and the most active country in this context is the United States. This country is seen by Israel and Turkey respectively. With 20 articles, Turkey ranked 3rd. This indicates that time is dedicated to important work on the field.
In this study, it is aimed to examine academic articles on environmental literacy in terms of bibliometric indicators. The research is in the scanning model and bibliometric analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data. The scanning range of bibliometric data obtained from the WoS database produced by Clarivate Analytics covers the period 1975-18 January 2022. The analyzes revealed that 419 of the 73,741,061 studies registered in the WoS database between 1975 and 2022 were related to Environmental Literacy. It was observed that 176 (42%) of these records were in the education/educational research category. The analyses revealed that the type of publications which was encountered mostly were academic articles with 138 studies. It was determined that 72 of the published articles were published in the last five years. This rate shows that educational research on environmental literacy has increased in recent years. Again, in the analyzes made, it was seen that there were 339 different authors who contributed to the field. It was determined that a total of 426 different keywords were used in 138 articles and the most effective journal was "Environmental Education Research". In addition, it has been seen that researchers from 33 different countries have published articles that contribute to the field. In this context, it has been observed that the most active country is the United States of America, followed by Israel and Turkey, respectively. The fact that Turkey is in the 3rd place with 20 articles shows that serious studies have been carried out in this field.
