Ülkemizde adli otopsi demografik çalışmaları çoğunlukla Adli Tıp Kurumu ve bağlı kuruluşlarda gerçekleştirilen incelemeler üzerinde yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, il merkezinde yapılan tüm otopsilerin yer aldığı adliye arşivinde bulunan otopsi kayıtları incelenerek, saptanan demografik veriler, yayınlanan çalışmaların verileri ile karşılaştırıldı. Ayrıca hangi hekimlerin ölü muayenesi ve otopside ne sıklıkta yer aldıkları değerlendirildi. Belirtilen süreçte Sivas’ta toplam 760 otopsi ve ölü muayenesi yapılmıştır. 541 olgu (% 71.2) ölü muayenesi, 219 olgu (% 28.8) otopsi yapılarak incelenmiştir. Olgular 0-86 yaşları arasındadır, % 72.9’u erkektir. Yaş ortalaması erkeklerde 34.5 ± 20.3, kadınlarda 31.3 ± 22.6’dır. Orijin sıralaması kaza (% 71.1), cinayet (% 15.1), intihardır (% 6.4). Olguların % 7.4’ü patolojik nedenle ölmüştür.
In our country, judicial autopsy demographic studies are mostly done on examinations carried out in the Judicial Medical Institute and affiliated organizations. In this study, the autopsy records found in the court archive where all the autopsy were performed in the center of the province were examined, the demographic data identified, compared to the data of the published studies. It was also evaluated which doctors were in the death examination and how often they were involved in the autopsy. A total of 760 autopsy and dead examinations have been conducted in Sivas. 541 cases (71.2 percent) were tested with dead, 219 cases (28.8 percent) were tested with autopsy. The cases are between 0-86 years of age, with 72.9% men. The average age is 34.5 ± 20.3 in men, 31.3 ± 22.6 in women. The origin ranking is accident (% 71.1), murder (% 15.1), suicide (% 6.4). 7.4 percent of the cases died from pathological causes.
