Abstract:

Supplier selection is a process that requires a number of criteria to be taken into account for to profits, to provide maximum profits with minimum resources and to use the poor resources effectively and efficiently. The aim of this study is to select the best supplier from four suppliers for a public institution’s emerging camera needs. The importance of the 11 criteria determined in the decision-making process was determined by the Entropy method and the most important criteria were after-sales support, past business performance and impact criteria respectively. Since the price of the suppliers' products and the labour cost values are close to each other, these two criteria are considered the least criteria. Supplier alternatives have been evaluated and compared with the results achieved by the MAUT and VIKOR methods from multi-critical decision-making methods. According to this, the results of the analysis by the VIKOR and MAUT methods found that the supplier rankings were the same and were A1, A2, A4 and A3 respectively.
