In this study, the biography of the last period of the Ottoman State, the hero of the National Struggle of Maraş, the owner of the Stiklal Medal, Hasan Refet Efendi, was addressed. Hasan Refet, a member of a family known as "Ilyaszade", completed his education in Maraş. Hasan Refet Efendi, who preaches and commemorates, serves as the founder chairman in the establishment of the Alliance and Terakki in Maraş. In the stage of the occupation of Maraş by the French, Maraş was the second chairman of the Law Society. He served in the city's defense, the necessary local organization, money, weapons, weapons, etc. He has performed important services. At the time of the Mebus, he also participated in the Antip fight. He served as the Maraş Mebusu in the Greater National Assembly between 1920 and 1922. The documents belonging to this period include documents from the written document relating to the appointment of the parliament, the beginning of its office, the work of the parliamentary commission and the removal of the mandate, and the documents from the written document relating to the appointment of the parliamentary committee to the parliamentary committee. By evaluating the documents from the personal document of Hasan Refet Efendi to the present day, we have tried to reveal a few known things about the life of the Refet Efendi so far.

Hasan Refet Efendi, a member of a family known as “Ilyaszade”, completed his education in Maras. Hasan Refet Efendi, who worked as preacher and lecturer, also served as the founding president of the Committee of Union and Progress (Ittihat ve Terakki) in Maras. During the occupation of Maras by the French, he served as the second chairman of the Association for the Defense of the Rights of Maras. He served in the defense of the city in various areas such as local organization, money, weapons, ammunition, etc. He also joined the struggle of Antep when he was deputy. He served as deputy of Maras in Turkey Grand National Assembly between 1920-1922. Among the documents belonging to this period, there are documents related to his election to the parliament, his appointment to the parliament, the work of the parliamentary commission and his appointment as a mufti in Maras after leaving the parliament. In addition to these documents, Hasan Refet Efendi's personal documents were evaluated and little known about his life was tried to be revealed.
