Abstract:

In this study, the objective of the activities carried out within the framework of the project "Our Curious Class" is to determine how students evaluate the development of creative thinking skills from their own perspective and their views on creativity. For this purpose, the case study method was used in this study in the province of Mersin, the data collected from 27 students through the sample for the purpose of the two 4th class branches in which this project was implemented was by the content analysis through the Nvivo 11 quality data analysis program. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the student daily, 87 codes under 5 themes and 78 codes under 6 themes were found from the analysis of the data obtained from the survey form consisting of open-end questions. Students have given more creative answers than the originality’s low-dimensions, in the low-dimensions of smoothness and flexibility of creativity. Again, considering the metaphors that students have for the events, a total of 21 metaphors were found, including 9 for osmosis effect, 4 for sirke-carbonate effect and 8 for air pressure effect. The student’s need for active participation, the exciting activities that will trigger their curiosity, the student’s contribution to the creative thinking processes, and they often feel happy during the events carried out.
