Bu çalışma ortaokul öğrencilerinin beden eğitimi ve spor dersinde sergiledikleri sportmenlik davranışlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim Sivas ve Yalova İlindeki Rastgele Seçilmiş Orta Okullar Oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada verilerin toplanması iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan kişisel bilgiler tablosu, ikinci bölümde Koç, (2013) tarafından hazırlanan “Beden Eğitimi Dersi Sportmenlik Davranışı Ölçeği (BEDSDÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS programı kullanılarak %95 güven aralığında ve 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Katılımcıların kişisel bilgilerini belirlemeye yönelik tanımlayıcı istatistikler hesaplanmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediği Kolmogrov Smirnow testine bakılarak olarak karar verilmiştir. İstatistiksel açıdan, Mann Witney U testi, Kruskal Wallis H testi, frekans, yüzde ve güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcıların sportmenlik davranışı puanlarının yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Katılımcıların Beden Eğitimi Dersi Sportmenlik Davranışları ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasında yapılan analizde Negatif Davranışları Sergileme boyutu ve ölçek toplam puanında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu, sınıf değişkeninde Pozitif Davranışları Sergileme boyutu ve ölçek toplam puanında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu, kulüp sporcusu olma değişkeninde sadece Negatif Davranışları Sergileme boyutunda kulüp sporcusu olmayan katılımcılar lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu, okul takımına katılma değişkeninde Negatif Davranışları Sergileme boyutunda ve ölçek toplam puanında kulüp sporcusu olmayan katılımcılar lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu ve spor branşı değişkeninde negatif davranışları sergileme boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu görülmektedir (p<0.05).
This study was carried out to examine the sportsmanship behaviors of secondary school students in physical education and sports lessons in terms of various variables. The study group of the research consists of Randomly Selected Secondary Schools in the provinces of Sivas and Yalova for the education of 2021-2022. Data collection in the study consists of two parts. In the first part, the personal information table created by the researcher, and in the second part, the "Physical Education Class Sportsmanship Behavior Scale" prepared by Koç (2013) was used. In the analysis of the data, it was evaluated at 95% confidence interval and 0.05 significance level by using SPSS program. Descriptive statistics were calculated to determine the personal information of the participants. It was decided whether the data showed normal distribution or not by looking at the Kolmogrov Smirnow test. Statistically, Mann Witney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test, frequency, percentage and reliability coefficient calculations were made. As a result of the research, it is seen that the participants' sportsmanship behavior scores are high. With the Physical Education Lesson Sportsmanship Behaviors of the Participants; In the analysis made between the gender variable, there was a statistically significant difference in the dimension of Displaying Negative Behaviors and the total score of the scale, there was a statistically significant difference in the dimension of Exhibiting Positive Behaviors and the total score of the scale in the class variable, and that in the dimension of being a club athlete, there was a statistically significant difference in favor of the participants who were not club athletes only in the dimension of Displaying Negative Behaviors. It is seen that there is a statistically significant difference in favor of the participants who are not club athletes in the dimension of exhibiting negative behaviors in the school team participation variable and in the total score of the scale, and there is a statistically significant difference in the dimension of exhibiting negative behaviors in the sports branch variable (p<0.05).
