Abstract:

A movement that emerged in the years when the modernist art concept was destroyed; Conceptual Art.  The anti-formalist concept was developed and a new art concept was founded with the opening of a wide sphere of thought to itself. Far from the representative, this new art concept was manifesting itself in different forms in different regions.  One of these new forms was Land Art. Richard Long was one of the most important artists of this stream. It was a naive approach that used nature with its own boundaries that distinguished it from other Land Art artists. In this study, the process of formation and conceptual infrastructure of Land Art will be studied while the works of Richard Long will be studied.
