Abstract:

Pregnancy, which has an important place in the life of a woman, passes from one physical condition to another, becoming a family while a couple. Pregnancy, affected by biological, psychological and social factors in which many changes and emotions occur for couples, also greatly affects the sexual behavior of the woman and the spouse/partner. Pares in pregnancy that are often a result of a sexual intercourse are not able to get the necessary advice on this matter because sexual life is still seen as a taboo, and therefore their sexual life is interrupted. Causes of interruption of sexuality during pregnancy are premature birth threat, low, infection, fears of potentially harming the fetus or the mother, etc. They are situations. In addition, the ambivalence in which the father candidates experience during pregnancy, the avoidance of sex with his wife, the fear of harming the pregnancy, anxiety and depression affect the sexual life. Many of these cases are due to missing or misinformation. Although it is in the age of information, even in recent years studies on sexuality in the period of pregnancy show that the reduction in sexual frequency and sexual satisfaction is necessary to write this collection. Therefore, in this collection, it is intended to draw attention to the problems both the mother and father candidates experience, to detail the ignored topics and the factors that affect sexuality in pregnancy.
