Abstract:

Çalışmada Makro Ekonomik faktörlerden tüketici fiyat endeksi, döviz kuru (USD), petrol fiyatı (Brent), altın-ons, sanayi üretim endeksi ile BİST Bankalar endeksi arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla çalışmada, Ocak 2003-Aralık 2020 dönemleri arası veriler toplanarak korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak BİST Bankalar Endeksi ile mevduat faiz oranı, döviz kuru, altın-ons, sanayi üretim endeksi arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edildi. BİST Bankalar endeksi ile döviz kuru ve altın-ons arasında negatif yönde, petrol fiyatı (Brent) arasında ise pozitif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

The study examined the relationship between the consumer price index, exchange rate (USD), oil price (Brent), gold-ons, industrial production index and BIST banks index. For this purpose, the study was researched using correlation and regression analysis by collecting data between January 2003 and December 2020. As a result; BIST Banks Index and the deposit interest rate, exchange rate, gold-ons, industrial production index have been found to have a statistically meaningful relationship. The BIST Banks Index and the currency rate and gold-ons have been found in a negative direction, while the oil price (Brent) has been found in a positive direction.
