Bir Üniversite Hastanesinde Çalışan Hemşirelerin İş Doyum Düzeyleri ve İş Doyumları İle İlgili Bazı Değişkenlerin İncelenmesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, bir üniversite hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin iş doyum düzeylerini ve iş doyumları ile ilgili bazı değişkenleri incelemekti. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı türde olan bu çalışma, 2008 yılı Şubat ayında, İnönü Üniversitesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi’nde yürütüldü. Çalışmanın örneklemini 266 hemşire oluşturdu. Çalışmanın verileri, Minnesota Doyum Ölçeği Kısa Formu ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılarak toplandı. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin genel iş doyumu orta düzeyde olup puan ortalaması 3.30 ± 0.71 idi. Hemşirelerin içsel doyum puan ortalaması (3.52±0.75) dışsal doyum puan ortalamasından daha yüksekti (2.98±0.86). Evli (3.39±0.69), dahili kliniklerde çalışan (3.55±0.54), birim sorumlusu olan (3.59±0.62), sürekli gündüz çalışan (3.52±0.58) ve bilimsel etkinliklere katılan (3.40±0.66) hemşirelerin genel iş doyum puan ortalamaları diğer hemşirelerden anlamlı olarak daha yüksek bulundu (P<0.05). Sonuç: Hemşirelerin genel ve içsel iş doyumları orta, dışsal iş doyumları ise düşük düzeyde idi. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, hemşirelerin iş doyumlarının medeni durum, çalışılan birim, işteki pozisyon, çalışma şekli ve bilimsel etkinliklere katılma durumu ile ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Abstract:

Purpose: The aim of this study was to study the levels of employment satisfaction and some variables related to employment satisfaction of nurses working in a university hospital. Method: This study, which is a defining type, was conducted in February 2008 at the Inönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center. The study was conducted by 266 nurses. The data of the study was collected using the Minnesota Doyum Scale Short Form and the Personal Information Form developed by the researcher. The overall work satisfaction of nurses was medium and the average score was 3.30 ± 0.71. The nurses' internal saturation score (3.52±0.75) was higher than the external saturation score average (2.98±0.86). Married (3.39±0.69), working in internal clinics (3.55±0.54), responsible for the unit (3.59±0.62), working on a daily basis (3.52±0). 58) and nurses participating in scientific events (3.40±0.66) found the overall work-satisfaction score average significantly higher than other nurses (P<0.05). The result: Nurses’ general and internal work satisfaction was medium, while external work satisfaction was low. The results of this study showed that nurses' work satisfaction is related to the civil state, the unit employed, the job position, the way they work and the state of participation in scientific activities.
