Abstract:

In this study, Anatolian chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.), which has a natural distribution area within the boundaries of Bursa province, was examined in terms of pollen morphology and allergic characteristics of its pollens. Anatolian chestnut pollen is trizonocolporatae and it is prolate shaped. As a result of microscopic examinations; P/E= 1,27 µm (W); 0,9µm (E), polar axis: 18.8 (14-16) µm, equatorial axis: 13.6 (13-14) µm. ÖZET Bu çalışmada Bursa ili sınırları içinde doğal yayılış alanına sahip olan Anadolu kestanesi (Castanea sativa Mill.) polen morfolojisi ve polenlerinin alerjik özellikleri yönünden incelenmiştir. Anadolu kestanesi polenleri trizonocolporatae olup prolat şekillidir. Mikroskobik incelemeler neticesinde P/E= 1,27 µm (W); 0,9µm (E), polar eksen: 18.8 (14-16) µm, ekvatoral eksen: 13.6 (13-14) µm olarak ölçülmüştür.
