Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the levels of social self-perception of students studying at the University of Namiyaman Body Education and Sports High School according to various variables. The study’s sample group, from the students who studied at the University of Namiyaman Physical Education and Sports High School, forms a total of 196 volunteer students, including 73 women and 123 men. As a data collection tool in the research, the "Personal Information Form" developed by the researcher and Shahin and Ark. The "Social Comparison Scale" was developed by 1994. The data received was analyzed with the SPSS 22.00 package program. In the statistical analysis of the data; Mann Whitney U test used a statistical method. According to the findings obtained in the study, there was no significant difference between the gender and the variables of the section they read and the social self-perception points of students. It has also been found that there is a significant difference between the age variation of students and the social self-perception scores.
