Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to adapt, validity and reliability studies of the Connor-Davidson Psychological Sustainability Scale Short Form (CDPSÖKF) to the Turkish language. The research group consists of 1211 university students. In the study, CDPSÖKF was used as data collection tools for detected stress scale, self-esteem scale and CES depression scale. According to the analysis, the scale has a single-factor structure. The verifying factor analysis, which was carried out to verify the determined structure after the opening factor analysis, found that the determined structure was verified. In the study, the correlation analysis results conducted in order to identify the validity of the standard-dependent indicated that university students had a negative relationship between the stress and depression levels perceived and the levels of psychological stability. On the other hand, it has been observed that there is a positive relationship between the levels of self-respect and the levels of psychological strength. In the framework of the measurement's reliability studies, the internal consistency ratio was 0.81. The two-half test correlation of the scale was 0.78. The research finds that CDPSÖKF is a valid and reliable measurement tool in determining the psychological stability of university students.
