Özet:

This study was made to determine the using partograhm and effectiveness of partograhms' of the midwives and nurses working in the woman labor clinics of an educational hospital giving service in the Asian side of Istanbul. This descriptive study was made with the participation of 53 midwives and nurses. Data were collected with the survey form which was prepared by the researcher. Obtained data were evaluated in a computerized environment by using frequency distribution and chi-square significancy test.83% of the participants were determined to be in the 30 age and under and 66.1% of them were in the midwifery staff. 45.4% of them were working in the delivery room between 2-5 years, 58.5% of them were never use partograhm before this time, 54.7% of them were not give any education about using partograhm and 75.5% of them were not feel compenent themselves about partograhm. 49% of the patricipants were said necessary to use partograph every time.
