Abstract:

This study aims to determine the impact of digitalization on accounting training and whether accounting training is sufficient in practice. For this purpose, a survey was implemented to accounting professionals. The data obtained was analyzed with the SPSS program and percentage and frequency identification statistics, as well as the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests. The research finds that digitalization in accounting education is very important but that the current accounting education does not provide sufficient space for digital systems and does not contribute to the development of accounting professionals in the quality that can meet the needs of the business world. There has also been a significant difference between the age, experience and postgraduate careers of accounting professionals and their views on the importance of digital systems in accounting training.
