In the southwestern part of the West Black Sea, the Sky linked to the Bolu province, has the privilege of being the center of the Umur Han Beylik, which is among the cities established after the destruction of the Anadolu Selçuklu State, as well as one of the first conquested settlements of the Ottoman Empire. It is known that the Silk Road, which has made the sky a major trading center in history, passes here. Based on the historic Hellenistic era of the Roman, Byzantine and Anadolu Selçuklu Turks that remained under the rule for many years, the unique geography of Göynük creates a glorious city impression with its rich culture and the works of the Turkish Age gathered in a small area. This historic district, which can preserve its traditional texture, hosts both the works of the Early Ottoman Period and carries the traces of the Late Ottoman Period. In Göynük there are a total of 16 Turkish Devri structures, including 6 registered mosques, 4 rivers, 1 hamam, 1 government hall, 1 tower and 3 turbines. In our work, the Turkish era architecture in the center of Göynük has reached today, these structures have been evaluated taking into account the design, material and decoration characteristics.
