Özet:

The mixed study aims to describe the streaming consumption of music of young people in the Querétaro Metropolitan Area. For this presents a theoretical discussion around the practices of consumption of digital music of young people and their appropriation. The research includes quantitative data collected through a survey and information obtained from discussion groups and visual data. It shows the hegemonic presence of music consumption via streaming, Spotify being the most used platform and the reference regarding this service. It also realizes the centrality of the mobile phone in music consumption by turning it into a device that promotes the customization of consumption and its agile management anytime, anywhere.  It corroborates the presence of a hybrid consumer model that combines streaming with music download as a second option. The data obtained also allow to conclude that the playlist is the preferred choice by young people in terms of music consumption because it allows practicality and customization. The study shows how technology leaves its role as a channel and support to become a facilitator of an experience energized to the fullest by the capabilities of digital music streaming management.
