Abstract:

The study was conducted in order to determine the status of teachers who work in the pre-school educational institutions, the existing learning centers in their classes and their views on these centers. Research is designed in accordance with the situation study pattern of the quality research methods. The study has been determined by easy-to-accessful sample case sampling from sample methods for the work group. The study group consisted of eight teachers from eight different kindergartens. The research data is interpreted by imaging and content analysis collected by the question form. The research has found that the space and materials assigned to the learning centers in pre-school classes are insufficient. Under these circumstances, it is clear that teachers are placed in the bloc, art, science, book and music center in accordance with their pre-school program, but they are not able to create a lot of temporary centres of interest. It is clear that teachers complete the lack of material with their own possibilities and efforts. Teachers have a lack of knowledge about learning centers. The teachers have achieved the results that they are aware of this and that they are trying to organize the learning centers according to the purpose.
