Purpose: This study was aimed at presenting early period results of patients with safen venous ablation with cyanocrylate and measuring the reliability of cyanocrylate in the first 6 months. Instruments and Methods: 318 symptomatic patients who were administered by cyanocrylat and safen venous ablation between March 2015-October 2016 were considered retrospective. The study was taken in colored venous doppler in the ultrasound, patients with a safen venous diameter of at least 5 mm at the safenofemoral component level and a reflux of at least 0.5 s. All patients were taken with local anesthesia. There is no need for anesthesia. Each procedure lasted about 10 minutes and after 30 minutes the patients were removed with elastic binding, provided that they stayed one day. No compression socks and any medical treatment is recommended, except for patients with perforate venous deficiency. The clinical conditions of patients were compared to preoperative conditions with the venous clinical severity score after 6 months. Results: In total, 318 (180 women, 138 men) patients were diagnosed with cyanocrylate and safen venous ablation. The average age was 43.6±12.78. Early clinical examinations found that in 6 patients thromboflebitis occurred, and in 12 patients eczimosis occurred in the spot of ponction. The venous clinical severity score was found to be significantly decreased in all patients according to their pre-operative conditions. 6 months later in colored venous doppler ultrasound inspection, 16 patients were seen from a file scan where safenine was rekanalized.
