Abstract:

the family’s olive oil demands in the urban area of adana were analyzed in june 1998 with the double threshold duble hurdle model using data compiled from 400 families, the total expenditures of families whose data is explained by the best independent double threshold model are determined by the price of olive oil sunflower oil butter and other liquid oils used in the model, the sociodemographic variables used in the model, according to age groups, the volume width of households in the family is the level of learning of the woman, and the proportion of employees in the family from the urban field of the families, the families used in the design of olive oil demands of the model, as well as the changes of sociodemographical influences, are determined by the sociodemographical influences, as well as well as variables of sociodemographical influences, which are determined by the changes in the models used in urban fields
