Abstract:

In this article, we will try to give a bibliography of Zulfikar Tüccar as well as his life, scientific and moral personality. Dr. Tüccar, came to Istanbul from at small village called Büğet which is located in Tokat in 1960. He studied Islamic sciences and especially Arabic Language and Literature. He was grown up in Istanbul as a young scholar in the mentioned fields. His scientific education began with imam-hatip high school and he attended to the university. Afterwards he joined to the academy and he wrote his master thesis and various scientific papers. In this article, his works would be systematized and listed. Dr. Tüccar taught many graduate and undergraduate courses on Arabic literature. He worked for twenty five years at Turkiye Diyanet Foundation Centre for Islamic Studies. Then we will mention about his articles found in Encyclopedia of Islam for Diyanet. Finally, we will give Dr. Tüccar’s speech, which was addressed at the opening ceremony of Trakya University Divinity Faculty on 23 September, 2013. .
