Çalışmanın amacı ilkokul 4.sınıf matematik ders kitaplarını anayasaya ve mevzuata uygunluk yönünden incelemektir. Bu kapsamda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı ve ATA yayınları tarafından hazırlanan ilkokul 4.sınıf matematik ders kitapları incelenmek üzere seçilmiştir. Tarama yöntemiyle incelenen kitaplarda ki metin ve görseller, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen değerlendirme formu ile analiz edilmiştir. Hazırlanan formda MEB (2019) Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı, ‘Taslak ders kitabı ve eğitim araçları ile bunlara ait e-içeriklerin incelenmesinde değerlendirmeye esas olacak kriterler ve açıklamalar” dikkate alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda her iki yayınevi tarafından hazırlanan kitapların çoğunlukla anayasaya ve mevzuata uygun olduğu görülmüştür. Her iki ders kitabı da benzer olumsuz unsurlar taşımaktadır. Bu unsurların toplumsal eşitlik, cinsiyet eşitliği, toplumun değer yargıları ve içeriğin toplumun tüm katmanlarına hitap etmesiyle ilgili olduğu görülmektedir.
The aim of the study is to study the mathematics lessons of the 4th grade in the direction of compliance with the constitution and legislation. In this context, the National Ministry of Education and the ATA publications prepared primary school 4th class math courses were chosen to be studied. In the books studied by the scan method, the text and images were analyzed by the evaluation form developed by the researchers. In the prepared form, the MEB (2019) Education and Education Board Chairman has taken into account, "The criteria and descriptions that will be based on the assessment in the study of the curriculum and the educational tools and their e-content." The research found that the books prepared by both publishers were mostly in accordance with the constitution and legislation. Both books have similar negative elements. These elements appear to be related to social equality, gender equality, the value judgments of society, and the contents of all layers of society.
