Kamuoyunun da yakından bildiği gibi İnönü Üniversitesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi, Türkiye’de ve dünyada emsaline göre, önde gelen bir sağlık kurumudur. Çünkü bu sağlık merkezinde dünyadaki gelişmelere paralel olarak organ nakli dâhil başarılı tedaviler yapılmaktadır. Alınan olumlu sonuçlar insanların umudunu arttırmaktadır. Özellikle karaciğer naklinde Türkiye’de ve Avrupa’da başarı listesinin ilk sıralarında yer aldığı müşahede edilmektedir. Doğu Anadolu Bölgemizin bu güzel kentinde sağlık elemanlarının gayretleriyle elde edilen bu başarı memnuniyet vericidir. Bu amaçla söz konusu tıp merkezinin, Malatya’ya da kurulmasına öncülük eden ileri görüşlü devlet adamı ve 8. Cumhurbaşkanı Turgut ÖZAL’ı rahmetle anmak gerekir. Ayrıca bu emanete sahip çıkarak, bugüne kadar katkıda bulunan maddi ve manevi emeği geçen herkesi tebrik ediyor ve saygıyla anıyoruz.
