Material and Methods: Forty extracted non-caries human molars were used in this study. Flat dentin surfaces were prepared on all teeth and embedded in acrylic resin blocks with the occlusal surfaces facing up. The samples were divided randomly into 5 groups (n=8). A Self-etch adhesive (Clearfil S3 Bond, Kuraray Dental, Okayama, Japan) and a nanohybrid composite resin (Grandio; Voco, Cuxhaven, Almanya) was appli- ed on dentin surface with 3 mm diameter and 4 mm height in a mold. In the first group, composite resin was applied after adhesive and polymerized with LED curing unit (3M Espe, Seefeld, Germany). Samples were stored in distilled water for 24 hours and then shear bond test was applied with a universal testing machine. After this, one of the adhesive was  refrigerated and the other one was stored at room temperature. After 1 month and 6 months each adhe- sive was applied on one group and shear test was performed. Data were recorded and one-way ANOVA test was done with SPSS 20 software (α=0.05). Results: The highest bond strength was observed in samples prepared after 24 hours (18,35 MPa). After 1 month, according to the results, there was no significant difference between samples prepared with the adhesive stored at refrigerated temperature or room temperature (p>0.05), while bond strength values of room temperature after 6 months’ group were significantly lower than the others groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: Storage conditions of bonding adhesives are important factors for the bond strength of composite resins to dentin. The adhesives should be stored in the refrigerator as recommended by the manufacturer’s instructions

The effect of a SELF-ETCH adhesive on the resistance of the different stagnation conditions to the tooth
2018

Özet:

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to evaluate the impact of a Self-Etch adhesive waiting in different conditions on the dentin's scratching bonding resistance. Tool and Method: 40 pieces of right-lam human molar female used in the study. The surface of the teeth was revealed and the oklusal surfaces were buried in acrylic resin blocks so that they remained on top. Then the examples were divided into random-gel 5 groups. Self-Etch adhesive (Clearfil S3 Bond, Kuraray Dental, Okayama, Japan) and a nanohydrate composite (Grandio; Voco, Cuxhaven, Germany) were applied to the surface of the dentin with a pattern of a diameter of 3mm, a height of 4mm. One of the groups - no adhesive dropped after composite resin dropped - was completed with a LED light device (3M Espe, Seefeld, Germany) polymerization. 24 hour distilled water with the universal test device (Instron Corp. Canton, MA) measures the resistance to the cutting connection. The one was kept in the refrigerator and the other in the room temperature. At the end of 1 month and 6 months, each adjective was re-measured by applying to one group. The data was recorded and a one-way Varians analysis was carried out with the SPSS 20 software (α=0.05). Results: The highest connectivity resistance was seen in samples prepared after 24 hours (18.35 MPa). After 1 month, according to the test results, there is no statistical difference between the samples prepared with the adhesive waiting at the refrigerator temperature and the samples prepared with the adhesive waiting at the room temperature (p>0. 05), the connection resistance was observed significantly lower as a result of 6 months waiting at room temperature (p<0.05). Result: Storage conditions affect the binding resistance of the composite restoration to the dentine. Additives should be stored in the refrigerator in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
