Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the self-respect and general levels of self-capacity of teachers working in private educational schools. The research sample was made by 150 volunteer teachers in the age range of 26-59 years (41,4467 ± 5,978) working in private educational schools in the districts of Pamukkale and Centralfendi. Two scales were used as a data collection tool in the study. The participant’s self-esteem was assessed by the “Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale” which has been determined by the “General Self-esteem Scale” which has been determined by the “Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale” which has been determined by the “General Self-esteem Scale” which has been determined by the “Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale” which has been determined by the “General Self-esteem Scale”. The professional subsequent year is determined by the Kruskal-Wallis test whether there is a difference between the participants’ self-respect points and the overall self-sufficiency points in terms of the professional branch. The self-respect of teachers who work in private educational schools and the overall self-sufficiency scores are calculated by using the t-test that they do not show. There was no significant difference between the teacher’s gender self-esteem scores and the general self-esteem scores (p>0.05). Teachers' self-respect scores and overall self-sufficiency scores have not shown any significant difference in relation to the senior year (p>0.05). There was no significant difference in the self-respect scores of teachers working in private educational schools (p>0.05) according to the professional branch. However, the overall self-sufficiency points differed according to branches (p<0.05). The overall self-sufficiency scores of classmates have increased compared to professional branch teachers and private education teachers. As a result; gender, age, old age did not make a difference in the status of self-respect and general self-sufficiency of teachers who work in private educational schools.
