Araştırmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumlarını ve etkileyen sosyo-demografik etmenleri saptamaktır. Tanımlayıcı türdeki bu araştırma 15-26 Şubat 2016 tarihlerinde, Fırat Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesinde okuyan 240 öğrenci ile yürütüldü. Veriler anket yöntemi ile toplandı. Öğrencilerin çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumları “Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği” (ÇTÖ) ile saptandı. Ölçek, 5’li likert tipte olup toplam 21 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ki-kare, varyans analizi ve t testi kullanıldı. Anlamlılık düzeyi 0,05 olarak kabul edildi. Yaş ortalaması 21,4±2,01 (18-32) yıl olan 240 öğrencinin %76,3’ü (n=183) kadın, %23,7’si (n=57) erkektir. %68,3’ü (n=164) Hemşirelik bölümündedir ve %37,1’i (n=89) yurtta kalmaktadır.
The purpose of the research is to identify the attitudes of university students towards environmental issues and the socio-demographic factors that affect. This investigation in the characteristic type was carried out on 15-26 February 2016 with 240 students studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Fırat. The data was collected by the survey method. Students’ attitudes towards environmental issues were determined by the "Environmental Attitude Scale". The size consists of 5 liquid types and consists of a total of 21 substances. In the evaluation of the data, ki-core, variance analysis and t test were used. The level of meaning was accepted as 0.05. 76.3% of 240 students with an average age of 21,4±2,01 (18-32) years (n=183) are women and 23.7% (n=57) are men. 68.3 percent (n=164) are in the Nursing Department and 37.1 percent (n=89) remain in the country. The average score that students receive from the Environmental Attitude Scale (CTO) is 82,01±8,05. Compared with some indicative characteristics of students, the CTO score average; a meaningful relationship between gender, section, mother education and the place and scale score was found (p<0,05). There is no meaningful relationship between age, class, father education, family structure and economic situation and scale scores (p>0,05). In the study, the attitudes of university students towards environmental issues differ according to gender, division, mother education status and where they live.
