Bu araştırmada kitap satış sitelerinde en çok satılan 14 resimli çocuk kitabındaki metinler ve görseller, değerler bağlamında incelenmiştir. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Söz konusu resimli çocuk kitapları belirlenirken amaçsal örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 20 kitap satış sitesi incelenmiş ancak bunlardan yalnızca 7 tanesi üzerinden 14 resimli çocuk kitabı araştırmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında resimli çocuk kitaplarındaki metinlerde en çok geçen olumlu değerin dostluk (37) en az geçen olumlu değerin ise sadakat (1) olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Metinlerde en çok geçen olumsuz değerin öfke (20) en az geçen olumsuz değerin ise şiddet, intikam ve cimrilik (1) olduğu bulunmuştur. Görsellerde en çok yer alan olumlu değerin sevgi (42) en az yer alan olumlu değerin ise saygı, doğruluk, güven ve dürüstlük (2) olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca görsellerde en sık yer alan olumsuz değerin öfke (18) en az yer alan olumsuz değerin cahillik, zalimlik, açgözlülük ve hainlik (1) olduğu da bulgular arasındadır.
In this research, the texts and images of the 14 best-selling children's picture books available on book sales sites, were examined for their values. The research was designed using the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research designs. The content analysis method was used to compile the research data, and the selected books were determined by the purposeful sampling method. As a result of the examinations, it was determined that the most common value was friendship (37), and the least common value was loyalty (1). The most common negative value was anger (20), and the least-mentioned negative values were violence, vengeance, and stinginess (1). A result of visual examination revealed that the most positive value in the images was love (42). It was also seen that the least positive values were respect, honesty, and trust (2). In addition, the most common negative value in the images was anger (18). The findings also revealed that the least negative values were ignorance, cruelty, greed, and treason (1).
