History of carpet art in Central Asia; Starting in the five or four centuries B.C., it continued to this day. Carpet art has also affected the Turkish world and its neighbors according to the importance of use. The Pazırk carpet, which was extracted from the kurgans of the Hun Turks, is an important historical relic with the title of the oldest knotted carpet in the world.Turkish weaving culture of Central Asian origin was made in need and this cultural element continued to exist in the fields where Turks lived. In this study; After focusing on the importance and approaches of the concepts of semiotics and representation in general, the Pazirik carpet will be introduced and its motifs will be examined separately. With the semiotic approach, the motifs will be analyzed and interpreted in detail in the table. In the same way, the colors used in the Pazırk carpet will be evaluated by making sense of it and writing it in the table. In the early days of Turkish art, representation was symbolic and iconographic. In this respect, analyzing motifs with a semiotics approach was a suitable study in terms of approach to the subject. In the examination; colors and motifs were tried to be shown by supporting them with pictures
