A significant relationship was determined between the education status of the nurses and their PSCS total score (p<0.05). As a result of the correlation analysis it was determined that there was a positively significant relationship between the PSCS score and MEAS scores of the nurses, and as their PSCS scores increased, their MEAS scored increased as well.   Conclusion:Evaluation of the current status by conducting regular measurements in regard to patient security in institutions and should be make improvements accordingly. Also, nurses should take responsibility in patient safety and improvement of patient safety culture should be the main priority of the institutions.
