Abstract:

Bu çalışmada Maârif Sâlnâmeleri, Devlet Sâlnâmeleri ve Vilayet Sâlnâmesi’nde yer alan veriler doğrultusunda Osmanlı Devleti’nin Sivas Vilayeti’nin eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri incelenecektir. Bu amaçla Hicri 1316 M. 1898 , 1317 1899 , 1318 1900 , 1319 1901 , 1320 1902 ve 1321 1903 senelerine ait sâlnâmelerin incelenmesi sonucunda Sivas Vilayeti’ndeki merkezî teşkilât, mevcut okullar, bu okullarda okutulan dersler, görevli idareci ve öğretmenler, kütüphaneler, gazeteler ve matbaalar hakkında elde edilen bilgiler sunulacaktır.
