Kodaly yaklaşımı Macar besteci ve eğitimci Zoltan Kodaly’ın müzik eğitimine ilişkin görüşleri çerçevesinde şekillenmiş, çeşitli araçları ve yöntemleri olan bir müzik öğretim yaklaşımıdır. Kodaly yaklaşımı pek çok ülkede 1960’lı yıllardan itibaren tanınmış ve müzik eğitiminde sıklıkla başvurulan bir yaklaşım olmuştur. Bu araştırmada Türkiye’de Kodaly yaklaşımı konusundaki bilimsel çalışmaların incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma genel tarama modeline dayalı betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmada Türkiye’de Kodaly yaklaşımı konusunda yapılan 15 lisansüstü tez ile 10 bildiri ve makaleye ulaşılmış, bu çalışmaların künye bilgileri ile araştırma türü, araştırma yılı, araştırma konusu ve araştırma yöntemine ilişkin bilgileri incelenerek frekans ve yüzde tabloları ile sunulmuştur. Araştırmada Kodaly yaklaşımı hakkında yapılan bilimsel araştımaların çoğunluğunun yüksek lisans tezi ve makale türünde olduğu, ülkemizde ilk çalışmanın 1995 yılında, en çok çalışmanın 2018 yılında yapıldığı; Kodaly yaklaşımı ile ilgili en çok araştırma yapılan konunun genel müzik eğitimi olduğu; araştırmacıların nicel ve nitel yöntemleri kullandıkları, karma yöntemlere ise az sayıda araştırmada yer verildiği; en çok tercih edilen araştırma modelinin deneme modeli olduğu ve araştırmaların bir kısmının araştırmanın yöntem bölümü hakkında gerekli bilgilere yer vermediği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.
Kodaly approach is a music teaching approach that is shaped within the framework of the views of Hungarian composer and educator Zoltan Kodaly on music education, and has various tools and methods. The Kodaly approach has been recognized in many countries since the 1960s and has been an approach frequently applied in music education. In this research, it is aimed to examine the scientific studies on Kodaly approach in Turkey. The research is a descriptive study based on the survey model. In the research, 15 postgraduate theses and 10 papers and articles on the Kodaly approach in Turkey were reached, and the information on the citation and research type, research year, research topic and research method of these studies were examined and presented with frequency and percentage tables. The majority of the scientific researches about the Kodaly approach in the research are in the type of master's thesis and article, the first study in our country was done in 1995, the most in 2018; The most researched subject about the Kodaly approach is general music education; that researchers used quantitative and qualitative methods, while mixed methods were included in a small number of studies; It was concluded that the most preferred research model was the experimental model and some of the studies did not include the necessary information about the method part of the research.
