Abstract:

The point in which the museum is now in our country, although it cannot go ahead of exhibition, the new developments in the educational programs of universities, in the state museums or in the private museums, make it necessary for more systematic educational activities in museums to be carried out. The museums, especially in children, allow the development of imagination, creativity and aesthetic feelings. They also help to realize thinking in many different ways, such as looking at objects, working with objects, making comparisons, remembering, establishing relationships between objects, classifying, questioning. The Anatolian Civilizations Museum Frig Year's events are prepared in the framework of the costume design project "Children with Frig Essentials" and the Ankara University Development Foundation, which was chosen as a pilot group, special primary school students have taken over the mission to promote the Frig Civilization. In the framework of the project work aimed at building a connection between the Frig Civilization and today, with the help of the Frig’s clothes to learn about the social and cultural structures of the Frig’s archaeological works and publications were scaned, the costumes designed very closely to their realities were presented to the public with the participation of the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the “Museums Weekly Events”.
