Abstract:

Augmented Reality can be defined as the combination of physical phenomena or situations around our lives with sound, text, 3D images or graphic data produced on a computer. This concept, which emerged in the 60’s and was only in question in scientific studies at that time, is now widely used in tourism, logistics, shopping, education, marketing, etc. with the widespread use of mobile devices. has been the subject of studies in many fields such as. It has become the priority of all nations to protect our cultural heritage in our lives and to reflect it objectively to future generations. By reflecting our cultural heritage to augmented reality, this aim is directly addressed and the interest in historical areas is increased successfully. Our ancient cultural heritage, which bears important traces from the past, has undergone certain attrition and destructive changes with the effect of time. Restoring these ancient heritages in order to adapt them to the present becomes very difficult and costly. With Augmented Reality, it is possible to adapt augmented reality technology to history by transferring virtual images and data prepared on the computer without the need for any physical construction on these cultural heritages.
