Abstract:

In this research, it is aimed to reveal the opinions of the trainees who attend the courses opened in the public education center, which continues its studies with the understanding of "education for everyone, anytime, anywhere" about adult education satisfaction. The research was carried out with the interview technique, one of the qualitative research methods, and the content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data obtained. The study group of the research consists of 26 trainees who attended the courses opened in a public education center in a city where is located on Marmara Region in January, February, March in the 2022-2023 academic year. In the research, the adult education satisfaction of the trainees in the public education center courses; The reasons for participation in the courses, how they are aware of the courses, the attitudes of the administrators about the problems they encounter in the courses and their solutions, the level of meeting their own expectations and needs of the courses, their contribution to the daily life of the courses and their professional and personal development, the opinions of the course training environments and the competencies of the trainers and the public education center course. The suggestions of the trainees for the improvement of the services were evaluated and tried to be determined. It is hoped that the results obtained in the study will provide data to practitioners and researchers in the context of carrying out adult education activities in line with adult demands, needs and expectations.
