Öz İnsanoğlu var olduğu günden beri çeşitli dönemlerde barınma ihtiyacına cevap veren yapılar yapmıştır. Bu yapılar medeniyetlerin kültürel özelliklerini yansıtan maddi kültür varlıkları haline gelmiştir. İnsanların geçmişten gelen kültürel özelliklerinin en iyi yansıtıldığı maddi kültür varlıklarından biri, inşa ettikleri evleridir. Toplumların geleneksel yaşantılarının en önemli göstergesi, geleneksel evlerdir. Anadolu insanın geleneksel yaşantısını yansıtan Türk Evi, Türklerin Orta Asya’da göçebe hayatı yaşayan bir toplumken kullandığı çadırın iç mekân kurgusuna dönüştüğü güzel bir örnektir. İklim ve coğrafi şartlara göre bölgesel farklılıklar gösteren Türk Evi’nin en güzel örneklerinden biri Diyarbakır evleridir. Genellikle iki katlı düzenlemeleri, avlu ve avlu etrafında şekillenen servis mekânları, üst kat yaşam alanları ile geleneksel kültürün devamlılığının görüldüğü yapılardır. Türk evi plan tipolojisine ve mekân kurgusuna uygun olarak biçimlenen, geleneksel yaşam biçimini yansıtan bu evlerin yaşatılması, korunması kültür sürekliliğinin sağlanması açısından önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, Diyarbakır’ın kentsel dokusunda yer alan geleneksel evlerin mekânsal yapısının Türk Evi mimarisindeki yeri üzerine bir değerlendirme çalışması yapılmıştır.
Abstract Human beings have built structures that meet the need for shelter in various periods since their existence. These structures have become material cultural assets that reflect the cultural characteristics of civilizations. One of the material cultural assets in which the cultural characteristics of people from the past are best reflected is their houses. The most important indicator of the social traditional lives is the traditional houses. Reflecting the traditional life of the Anatolian people, the Turkish House is a good example of the interior design of the tent used by Turks as a society living in the nomadic life in Central Asia. One of the best examples of the Turkish House, which shows regional differences according to climate and geographical conditions, is Diyarbakır houses. Generally, the two-storey arrangements, courtyard and service spaces shaped around the courtyard, upper floor living spaces and structures where the continuity of traditional culture are seen. The Turkish house, which is shaped according to the plan typology and spatial fiction, reflects the traditional lifestyle and it is important to maintain and maintain the cultural continuity. In this study, it is tried to evaluate the spatial structure of traditional houses in the urban fabric of Diyarbakır in Turkish House architecture.
