PANDEMİ SÜRECİNDE K-12 DÜZEYİNDE UZAKTAN EĞİTİM: DURUM ÇALIŞMASI

Corona virüsü (Covid-19), 11 Mart 2020 tarihinde Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından pandemi olarak ilan edilmiş ve Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının 12 Mart 2020 tarihinde alınan karar ile 16 Mart 2020 tarihinden itibaren okulların yüz yüze eğitimine ara verilmiştir. Ankara ilinde bulunan özel bir okul da alınan kararın hemen ardından uzaktan eğitime başlamıştır. Bu süreci durum çalışmasıyla incelemek amacıyla bütün süreç gözlenmiş ve sürecin değerlendirilmesi yarı yapılandırılmış sorularla öğretmenlere sorulmuştur. Alınan yanıtlar nitel analiz yöntemi ile incelenmiş kod ve kategorilere ayrılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre genel olarak öğretmenlerin uzaktan eğitim sürecine uyum sağladıklarını, teknolojiyi kolaylıkla benimsediklerini, yüz yüze olamama ve sürekli ekran başında olma gibi olumsuzlukların yanı sıra, öğrencilerin daha dikkatli dinledikleri, öğretmenin daha hızlı ders anlatabildikleri gibi olumlu yönlerinin olduğunu da belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler uzaktan eğitim sürecini başarıyla yürüttüklerini belirtmişlerdir.

Abstract:

The Corona virus (Covid-19) was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on 11 March 2020 and with the decision taken by the Ministry of National Education on 12 March 2020, the school’s face-to-face education was suspended from 16 March 2020. A private school in Ankara province also started distance education immediately after the decision was made. The whole process was observed and the evaluation of the process was asked to the teachers with semi-structured questions. The received answers are divided into examined codes and categories by the quality analysis method. According to the findings obtained, teachers generally adjust to the distance learning process, they easily adopt technology, negative aspects such as faulty face-to-face and constantly being on the screen, as well as positive aspects of students listening more carefully, teachers can teach lessons faster. Teachers say they have successfully conducted the distance learning process.
