Destinasyon Markalaşmasında Festival Turizminin Rolü: Ayvalık Uluslararası Zeytin Hasat Günleri Örneği

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yerel paydaşların bakış açısıyla “Ayvalık Uluslararası Zeytin Hasat Günleri”nin mevcut durumu, gelişim düzeyi ile ilçeye sağladığı markalaşma etkilerinin belirlenmesi suretiyle festivalin başarısını arttırarak ilçe tanıtımına, ekonomisine ve turizmine katkı sağlamaktır. Çalışmada, yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat tekniğiyle 16 kişiyle yüz-yüze görüşülerek verilere ulaşılmış, betimsel ve içerik analiz tekniklerinden yararlanılmış ve kelime bulutu analizi yapılmıştır. Festivalin Ayvalık destinasyon markalaşmasına önemli etkisi olduğu, turist sayısını arttırdığı, ekonomik açıdan ilçeye canlılık getirdiği ve kelime bulutu analizinde Ayvalık, zeytinyağı, hasat, şenlik, turizm, turist, deniz, markalaşma, yurtdışı ile tanıtım temalarının öne çıktığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

The objective of this research is to contribute to the promotion, economy and tourism of the district by increasing the success of the festival by determining the current state of the "Ayvalık International Olive Harvest Days", the level of development and the impact of the branding that it provides to the district. In the study, a semi-structured interview technique with 16 people was faced-faced, data was obtained, visual and content analysis techniques were used and word cloud analysis was carried out. The festival has an important impact on the branding of the destination of Ayvalık, increases the number of tourists, economically brings vitality to the district and the word cloud analysis has come to the conclusion that Ayvalık, olive oil, harvest, festival, tourism, tourism, sea, branding, foreign and promotional topics are highlighted.
